I moved to beautiful Hexham in 2021, mid-pandemic, with my husband, two kids and Springador.

I'd been balancing a part time job with being a ceramicist, selling through Etsy and markets up and down the country when, one day, on my way to Grateful Bread, I passed a vacant shop on Market Street and made some tentative enquiries about taking it on. A few months later I'd handed in my notice at work and now had a small shop and pottery studio... which wasn't scary at all!
